A graceful and romantic late Victorian pearl and amethyst pendant in the shape of a stylized bow. The 14k yellow gold "ribbon" is set with tiny, graduated pearls and a chunky little old mine cut diamond is set at the center of the "knot." The bezel set amethyst is a rich, vivid purple color. Just lovely, with the sensual curving lines that are the hallmark of the era. The back of the pendant bears European hallmarks. It hangs on a modern rope chain of 14k recycled gold. Circa 1890.
Details.....The pendant measures 1.15" by 1.18". The necklace is 16.5" long. In Excellent Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
